It’s a 350 meters long beach and 25 meters wide. Where is Cavoli Beach and how to arrive

This beach is only 5 kilometers from Marina di Campo, on the Sun Coast.
It’s easily accessible by car following the Provincial Road. Unfortunately the car needs to be parked on the street (so it’s better if you get there in the very early morning to find a spot) or in one of the paid valet parkings in the surroundings.
For those who come from Marina di Campo, 300 meters after the crossroad that takes you to Cavoli, there’s a small parking with a walkway that goes directly to the beach.
Another way to get to Cavoli is by bus, taking the ATL line that goes from Marina di Campo to Pomonte and get off at the Cavoli stop.

The beach is part of the town of Campo nell’Elba and it’s 300 meters long and 20/25 meters wide. It’s exposed to the Southern winds while it’s protected by the Northern and easter ones.

There’s a place nearby called Grottarelle that, with the so-called “Streets of Granite”, creates a very interesting ecomuseum. It’s an important evidence of the processing of the monzogranites that started in ancient times and continued until the first Century and then until the Maritime Republic of Pisa.
For those who are interested in this historical aspect, even nowadays they can find the caves where some remains of columns and two drafted circular baths are preserved, hidden by the vegetation.
